Data sources and corrections
Radio Nest separates upstream station records, derived geographic labels and reviewed corrections so their origins remain clear.
Station directory
Names, stream addresses, station homepages, languages, tags and many supplied coordinates primarily come from the community-maintained Radio Browser directory. Availability can change without notice.
Geographic labels
Radio Nest uses supplied coordinates and Who’s On First geographic data to create consistent place, region and country browsing. Map rendering is powered by MapLibre.
Processing and freshness
Radio Nest periodically checks upstream changes, stream health and duplicate relationships, then atomically publishes new web, player and search snapshots. A listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee that a stream is currently available.
Corrections
Station operators and listeners can report inaccurate listings at hello@radionest.net. Reviewed name and coordinate corrections are stored separately from generated snapshots so an upstream refresh cannot silently erase an approved correction.
